Griddle is the daily player-guessing challenge for NFL fans. You get eight attempts to identify one player using real-world data and color-coded hints.

Enjoy Weddle? Griddle is a separate NFL player-guessing game by Gridiron Trivia, with its own daily mystery player. You get eight guesses and clues for team, division, position, height, age, and jersey number. Griddle is not affiliated with Weddle.

Green means an exact match. A yellow division shares the answer’s conference, and a yellow position shares its side of the ball. Yellow height is within two inches, age within two years, and jersey number within two of the answer.

An unhighlighted attribute does not meet those match rules. The arrows on height, age and jersey number tell you whether the answer is higher or lower than your guess.

Choose early guesses that cover useful differences in conference, position, age, size, and jersey number. Even when the player is wrong, a varied guess creates several independent clues. Repeating a similar player too soon often tells you less about the mystery answer.

A yellow age of 25 means the answer is 23, 24, 26 or 27; age 25 would be green. Use the arrow to choose the higher or lower pair, then combine that range with the team and position clues before your next guess.

In Griddle, each guess gives you a row of comparisons with the mystery player. Guess The Player gives you facts to reveal one at a time, with three guesses and up to eight hints.

How many guesses do I get? The standard daily Griddle allows up to eight attempts. Each submitted player produces a new row of color-coded comparisons with the answer.
